Remote patient monitoring. Reimagined.

Somatix

Somatix is a health tech company using real-time gesture detection through wearables to passively monitor behavior and promote healthier habits. Its technology powers two core products: SmokeBeat, for smoking cessation, and SafeBeing, for remote care and elder monitoring.

We led a complete rebrand to express the intelligence and empathy behind the platform. At the center of the new identity is a pixel-based heartbeat icon, bridging digital insight with human wellbeing. The arc above the “x” in the logo forms the shape of a human figure, emphasizing the personal dimension behind behavioral data.

We designed sub-logos for each product, developed a custom icon set, and built a cohesive visual system applied across marketing, the app, and user experience flows. A key visual element is the use of red, green, and blue arcs layered over black-and-white photography. These lines represent the scanning of human behavior and subtle real-time observation—core to the Somatix approach.
